In August 2019, I attended IBBY’s African Regional Conference in Accra, Ghana. I presented a paper on children’s book illustration and co-ran an Illustrator Workshop with author, illustrator and publisher Ken Wilson-Max. This 3-day workshop organised by the British Council and IBBY UK explored the world of children’s publishing and provided portfolio feedback and story development.
